The machine attaches a pre-printed plastic tag directly onto the fish, using a small, fine plastic thread. Both the tags and fasteners are roll fed, which means that the machine can run 4500 – 6000 fish before needing reloading. The roll fed system has increased the machine’s reliability.

The machine can be used stand-alone or installed in a packing grader.

The tagging capacity is 120 fish per minute.
